MultiFusion Server
Version 0.6.5Released macOS · Windows · Linux
The video management core: recording, live view, playback, maps, alarms, signed evidence and the Server app — now with MultiFusion Intelligence (search and investigation across cameras, people and vehicles) and MultiFusion Access for workplaces and visitors.
What's new in 0.6.5
Recordings play in the MultiFusion Server app on Windows, and an upgrade now replaces the app too (the installer closes it first).
Installing on a new Windows server works: the installer no longer stops before the service exists, and a silent install (/S) no longer waits for a hidden message box.
Cameras with STQC firmware (such as CP Plus) are found and set up on their own: a camera whose clock is far off is signed in using its own time, and its HTTPS services and RTSPS stream path are recognised.
Recordings play on a server without a graphics card: lighter playback lists, H.265 converted about twice as fast, and the player resumes on its own instead of showing an error.
Each camera is recorded once on Windows: a recorder replaced a minute after start is now stopped.
Upgrades from older builds start and stay healthy, and stopping the Windows service stops the database, media engine and recorder with it.
MultiFusion Intelligence and MultiFusion Access are included, as in 0.6.1.
macOS 12 or later on Apple silicon. Windows 10, 11 or Server 2016 and later, 64-bit. Linux x86-64 and arm64 with systemd (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit).
In the package
Database, media engine, decoders and the Server app. Nothing is downloaded at install or first run.
Hardware
Sized per project from cameras, bitrate and retention; Freaquer supplies the bill of materials.
Cameras
IP cameras with ONVIF or RTSP; H.264 or H.265.
Network ports
9090 web and API (HTTPS) · 8554 RTSP · 8322 RTSPS · 8189/UDP and 8190/TCP WebRTC · 9092 Recorder nodes.
Clients
MultiFusion VMS client, the Server app, or a current web browser.
The macOS installer and the app inside it are signed with Freaquer's Developer ID; the package is not yet notarized, so right-click the .pkg and choose Open the first time. The Windows installer is not code-signed: SmartScreen shows "More info › Run anyway".
Full installer (.pkg) — server, database, video engine, the Server app and the four base AI models; upgrades 0.4.x in place and keeps recordings, database and settings. This is 0.6.0, without Intelligence; the 0.6.5 macOS installer follows.
The MultiFusion Access desktop app for operators, reception and security: access policies, doors and emergency, visitor management, and the identity lifecycle, on a MultiFusion Server 0.6.0 or newer.
What's new in 0.2.1
Access Policies: policies with versions and a simulator, groups and the permission matrix, schedules and holidays, doors, gates and turnstiles, the authorization queue and exception handling, anti-passback and occupancy, emergency lockdown and roll call.
Visitor Management: overview, pre-registration and invitations, walk-in registration, approvals, digital passes, entry monitoring with a movement route on the map, check-out, history, watchlist, analytics and reports, policy rules, host directory, alerts and escalations, integrations; the visitor self-service portal is served by the server.
People & Access: directory, credential issuance and enrolment, revocation and expiry, lifecycle and HR sources, access reviews, identity resolution and just-in-time access.
Needs MultiFusion Server 0.6.0 or newer; a server that is too old is named on connect.
Turns a computer into an AI node for MultiFusion: detection, tracking, plate reading and image search, with its runtime and four base models included.
What's new in 0.1.5
Windows and Linux portable workers: unpack, run and pair with the server — no installer, nothing written outside the folder and the data folder you choose. Installers follow.
NVIDIA GPUs on Windows: the worker now loads the NVIDIA libraries correctly (measured on a GeForce RTX 5050 laptop); detection results are read out faster.
GPU runtime packs (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD) are delivered separately, signed, with each project.
Installed models, the runtime test and the benchmark use the MultiFusion model names — Sentinel, Scout, Lexa and Recall — with subtitles in Hindi too.
Turns a computer at a remote site into a recording node: video stays on local disks, the server stays in charge, and playback works without opening a port at the site.
What's new in 1.1.0
Released with MultiFusion 0.4.0 and the VMS client 0.3.0.
Before installing, check that the file you received is exactly the one we published. Compare the SHA-256 the command prints with the one listed above (and in the .sha256 file that comes with each release). If they differ, do not install the file — tell us.
macOS (Terminal)
shasum -a 256 MultiFusion-Server-0.5.1-macos-arm64.pkg
Or check against the release's checksum file:
shasum -a 256 -c MultiFusion-Server-0.5.1-macos-arm64.pkg.sha256
PowerShell prints the hash in capitals; the comparison ignores case.
Update files (.mfupdate) are also signed: the Server app checks the signature before installing anything, and refuses a file that fails.
