Frequently asked questions

Does it need the internet?

No. Investigate is served by your own MultiFusion Server and runs its analysis on your own Analytics Workers. Evidence, results and reports stay on your network.

How is the chain of custody kept?

Each file is hashed when it arrives, and every action on the case — import, analysis, finding, movement, report — is written to the case's custody record in order, with who did it and when.

Which languages does it work in?

The screens and the report are in English and Hindi. Search by meaning understands words in about 100 languages, and speech is transcribed by MultiFusion Transcribe in many languages, Indian languages included.

Does it need a separate server?

No. It comes with MultiFusion Server and runs on the same computer; analysis uses the Analytics Workers you already have.
